Eligibility criteria:

  • A REES lighting upgrade may only be performed once at each premises
  • Landlord permission must be obtained before the work is commissioned
  • All lights must be in working order to be eligible for replacement
  • Trades Services SA (TSSA) must undertake the replacement
  • Large energy users may also be eligible for these offers, but additional conditions apply

Assumes adequate power supply and that all existing metal halide high-bays are in working order and do not require relocation.
Large business customers are those where the National Meter Identifier (NMI) / site consumes 160 MWh and over of electricity per annum, and are required to pay a minimum of $1.40 per GJ (incl. GST) equivalent for the upgrade. Small business customers are not required to pay this fee.
For this offer to be valid, Trades Services SA, must supply and install the lighting.
Installations which do not involve replacing working high-bays are not eligible for REES, and will be charged at market rates. Any additional parts or materials will incur additional charges.
Any switchboard work or upgrades will incur additional charges. Additional charges may apply if a non-standard scissor lift is required.

Installed value includes the product value plus an electrician rate of $100 per hour x 10 hours labour, plus $500 scissor lift hire.
